This is one beautiful and powerful banjo! The breathtaking quilted maple resonator and very highly figured curly maple “speed” neck really make a statement! The neck is fast and comfortable and this banjo has power, balance and dryness, which is my favorite combination!

The gold plating isn’t perfect, but no modern gold plating is. There is minimal fret wear as you can clearly see in the photos below but this banjo is a long, long way from needing any fret work. Spikes are already installed at: Ab, A, Bb, B and C. The head and setup are recent, the strings are new and it has a Dotson premium old wood banjo bridge installed. We’ve been through this banjo with a fine tooth comb and it’s a great 5-string!
